Beth Compton
Beth is a PhD candidate at the University of Western Ontario. Beth's PhD research explores the nature of archaeological objects and their digital copies in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region and Southwestern Ontario.

Becky Goodwin
Becky is a PhD candidate at the University of Western Ontario. For her PhD research, Becky is looking at how archaeologists understand gender in the past.

Colleen Haukaas
Colleen completed her MA at the University of Western Ontario in 2014. Her research explored the use of low-cost photogrammetry for community engagement in archaeology.

Laura Kelvin
Laura completed her PhD at the University of Western Ontario in 2016. Her research examined community perceptions of the past and archaeology to determine how archaeological knowledge can best complement Inuvialuit knowledge.

Katie Kotar
Katie completed her MA at the University of Western Ontario in 2016. Her research examined the faunal remains recovered during the 2014 excavation at Agvik.

Alex is a Sachs Harbour community member. He was a member of the fieldcrew during the 2014 excavation at Agvik.

Mariah is a Sachs Harbour community member. She was a member of the field crew during the 2014 excavation at Agvik.

Trevor Lucas
Trevor Lucas is a Sachs Harbour community member. He worked as a wildlife monitor and guide during the 2013, 2014, and 2015 field seasons.

Jordon Munizzi
Jordon completed his PhD at the University of Western Ontario in 2018. His research uses carbon, nitrogen, and oxygen stable isotope analysis to understand changes in the diets, health and movements of muskox and caribou on Banks Island over the last 4500 years.

LetiTia Pokiak
Letitia is from Tuktoyaktuk, NWT, and has family ties in Sachs Harbour. She has a BA in anthropology and was a member of the fieldcrew during the IAP's 2013 field season. She is currently working on her Masters degree in Anthropology at the University of Victoria.

Antonia Rodrigues
Antonia is a PhD candidate at Simon Frasier University. Her research studies ancient DNA to reveal past population dynamics of muskox and caribou on Banks Island in order to shed light on human-environment interactions on the island through time.

Zsofia is an undergraduate student in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Western Ontario. She is looking at wood artifacts and fishing equipment from Agvik for her Research Practicum.

Ana JorgeAna is a teaching fellow at University of Aberdeen in Scotland. She is studying the pottery from Agvik and other sites in the region to learn what they can tell us about Thule Inuit identity and social organization. |
